In 1912 Eddie Cicotte was sold from the Boston Red Sox to the Chicago White Sox. In Chicago Eddie became one of the premier pitchers in the majors, winning 209 games.  Cicotte major league career era was 2.38 with over 3000 innings pitched. On August 23rd, 1912, Eddie would throw a complete game for  a 4-2 win over the NY Highlanders (soon to become the Yankees). Seven years later he would be known for throwing the first pitch in the 1919 World Series hitting Morrie Roth of the Cincinnati Reds and letting the Gambling World know that the fix was in. This is an early very rare Cicotte ticket that has been graded by PSA NM-MT  8.
