Joe DiMaggio would hit his 101/361 in the same game as the Yankees would crush the Indians 15-9 in game one of a double header. Tough ticket to find both players hitting home runs in the same game. April 19th 1940 the Philadelphia Athletics visited Boston for a double header. In game 1 the Red Sox held on to win 7-6 with Foxx hitting his 466th career home run( Foxx would hit a total of 534 home runs for his career).
