The Indians would score 27 runs crushing the Red Sox 27-3. In game 2 they would slow the runs down winning 8-5. A 1928 Chicago White Sox Team Pass issued to Joe Carr (Father of football, NFL Hall of Fame). During the season the fans of Chicago saw Ruth hit 3 home runs (6-10, and 6-12) while Gehrig hit two (6-12). They also saw the last start of Ty Cobb (HOF) (7-26) where he went 2-5. Cobbs last game would also be in Chicago but he did not play.
